Getting here
General advice from us, not official: road closures and car parks are announced by the Municipality and the Police a few days before.
By car
From the A1 motorway take the Limassol exit (Ayia Fyla or Polemidia) and head down to the sea. On parade day avoid Makarios Avenue: it closes from 08:00 and the side streets fill up early.
Parking
Old Port and Marina (paid), Epichosi on Spyrou Araouzou, Enaerios on the seafront and the municipal car parks on Agkyras Street. On the square nights, park at the Old Port and walk 5–10 minutes.
By bus
EMEL city buses stop along the seafront and at the Old Port; on parade Sunday some routes are diverted. From Nicosia, Larnaca and Paphos, intercity buses run to the Old Port station.
On parade day
Makarios Avenue closes from 08:00 and the parade starts at 13:00. Come before 11:00 for a spot on the pavement, bring water and a hat, and if you come with children agree on a meeting point: the mobile network struggles with 100,000 people.
⚠ This is general advice. Check the official announcements of the Municipality of Limassol before you set off.
